This costume is based on a character from the game Smite by Hi-Rez Studios.
It won gold tier at the 2016 Smite Worlds Costume contest.
Most of the feathers on the dress are handmade using layers of fabric and wire, then cut to mimic the texture of actual feathers. The skirt also features crystals mounted to led lights running throughout. Other notable features are hand dyed lace, cast findings, illuminated pauldrons and hat. The prop is made from a combination of wood and PVC pipe covered in white hot glue to achieve the dripping wax look. It is designed to hold flame-less candles that use magnets to achieve the flickering flame effect.
